**Tank photo is before cycle was done**

I've been out of the hobby quite awhile.

My first coral tank was using a uw gravel filter. Then moved to Berlin, then DSB.

Allot of these corals I have researched before I purchased this group.

I seek advice on placement, flow, and lighting.
Also, any feeding suggestions, difficulties with said coral.

I hope this thread will be a resource for people wanting to try these corals..

Reply with photo from below, then add all of your suggestions, based on your selected corals..

Trumpet Corals:
  • Lighting: Trumpet coral prefer moderate lighting, around 100-150 PAR. They can tolerate a range of lighting conditions, but too much light can cause the polyps

  • Water flow: Trumpet coral prefer moderate water flow, but too much flow can cause the polyps to lose their fleshiness.

    • Placement: Trumpet coral should be placed in the bottom to middle of the tank. They should be kept away from the top of the tank, where the lighting is too bright.

    • Feeding: Trumpet coral don't need to be fed heavily, but you can feed them meaty foods like Mysis shrimp or krill a couple of times a week to promote growth.

    • Water changes: Perform small water changes weekly and keep water values in check.

    • Calcium and alkalinity: Keep calcium and alkalinity levels in check.

    • Space: Provide enough space for the coral to grow and thrive.

    • Other corals: Keep trumpet coral a few inches away from other corals to avoid chemical warfare.

As I am a trumpet player, I do believe I'll have to represent in my new build.

(Black Light) Touch

  • Lighting
Torch corals prefer moderate lighting, around 100-125 PAR. You can gradually increase the lighting levels.

  • Flow
Torch corals need moderate to high water flow that's turbulent and not constant. This helps keep them clean and healthy, and gives them a chance to catch food. However, the flow shouldn't be so strong that the tentacles retract into the coral's skeleton.

  • Space
Torch corals need plenty of space to grow and thrive. They can sting and kill other coral species, so it's best to place them away from other corals.

  • Feeding
Torch corals benefit from regular target feeding with microplankton and meaty foods. You can turn down the flow to give the coral a chance to grab the food.

  • Water parameters
Torch corals require stable water parameters, including temperature, salinity, and pH.

  • Placement
You can place torch corals halfway in your tank on rocks.

  • Dip before placing
You should dip torch corals before placing them in your tank to protect them from a large flat worm predator.

    • Torch corals are photosynthetic and rely on zooxanthellae, a symbiotic algae that lives inside their tissues, to convert light energy into sugar.

I'm kind of confused, did you buy and receive all of these corals you listed? Your other thread shows the rock still dry just a week and change ago.. any pics of the tank with water in it?
