This is my tank about 3 months in. Liverock came from a FOWLR tank which housed the Falco Hawkfish. This is my second tank, my first was a 4G AIO waterbox (yeah yeah I know, worst idea ever, but i didnt learn I guess, i just love the challenge of the smaller tanks)
Equipment:
Aquarium: Ultum Nature Systems 30C (7Gallon Rimless Cube)
Lighting: Aqua Illumination AI Prime 16HD
Filtration: AquaMaxx HOB-PF
Refugium Lighting: Innovative Marine Chaetomax
Protein Skimmer: Reef Glass Nano Skiller
Heater: Fluval E-Series
Temperature Controller: Inkbird ITC 306A
Wavemaker: Jebao SLW-5
I belive those are the main components of the system right now.
Some recent changes I've made are turning the HOB into a hybrid filter/refugium,. I've added the IM Chaetomax light and some sea lettuce, left the sponge filter, de*nitrate ceramic media and some matrix carbon but removed the phosguard in hopes that the refugium lighting and sea lettuce will replace the phosguard.
In progress is replacing the way overpowered for my tiny tank 100-200w Fluval E Series heater (i dont remember what the wattage is) with 2x 20w cobalt aquatic mini therms. Just waiting for them in the mail.
Some future plans are adding an ATO system. I was thinking about the XP Aqua system with the little magnetic overflow box, which would allow me to put the ceramic media in there instead and provide more room for the macroalgae in my HOB.
Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
