This came as a hitch hiker. It showed up about 3 month after I started the tank and then took off like crazy. It's pink, translucent and delicate. Can anyone help with an ID ? Good guy or bad?

It does have that look but it has no mouth. More like a macro algae. My main concern is that it may spread and take over the tank... bad guy.

Dragon52... doesn't look like a majano at all, closer to the cc anemone but the tentacles are not as formed. A lot of the tentacles are branching at the end. Often with two or three off shots.
Manlykady... I haven't noticed it stinging. Early on I did try some manual removal and I didn't notice a sting. Also when I did try to pull it off it came off in many pieces almost feathery.

It has nice movement in the water. My daughter has claimed it as her favorite. It has white specks in it. almost like air bubbles.

Nemastoma is more bubbly...let it grow a bit and post again. I dont think its anything highly invasive...

No it does not retract when touch and I have seen my green clown goby swim through it. It is fragile and breaks apart easily but attached to the rock firmly (like rubber, but not a foot).
