Looks better than mine. I keep mine under (2) 250 watt Phoenix HQIs. Mine sits about directlly under one, about 9 inches below the bulb. It looks a little more bleached and faded than Bama's. Mine has been growing for about a year though, and looks really healthy, colors just aren't quite as rich. I'd say less light would bring better color. JMO

Mine is intensely pink right now. I'll get a picture tomorrow. Nice contrast with the black rock and brown hairy algae;). It is ~6-7" below the water surface under 250W 14K Phoenix DE's (Aqua Medic fixture that registers nearly twice the par of my PFO fixtures-may explain the three sets of end caps I've gone through since I got it;)). I've been running Prodibio for nearly 6 weeks now, so that may be some of the color, too.

Gary, glad you mentioned the prodibio, I am running zeovit which could attribute to some of my coloration also.

Mine is under a 400 watt Radium, with super actenic VHOs. Coral is 9" under the surface, and lighting is about 16" off of the water. Seams very happy.

I was always under the impression that lower light levels, i.e. a bit lower in the tank, could help get the pink coloration with more greenish hue ot the branches. Higher up seems to bring out the yellow of the branches and less pink in the polyps. Then again, lighting and water quality would matter as well.

I agree..higher up and you get a brighter yellow but less pink in the polyps. Lower light and more pink with a green base. I personally like the bright yellow!!
