What is your opinion on the Pinpoint salinity monitor?
I’ve gone through three Hanna Salinity checkers in just over a year. Not interested in buying another one. The Hanna are awesome while they work, but my experience (obviously) has been they have a high failure rate.
So, mainly looking to use the Pinpoint for mixing and a quick checks on my display. I have a Aoex on the display and the salinity probe has proven good for monitoring trend, but pretty unreliable for accurate measurement. Hence backing it up with something.
I monitor my display a couple time a week with a freshly calibrated refractometer as well. But I want to replace the Hanna with the Pinpoint for making saltwater.
Anyway, what been your experience with the Pinpoint? Are they fairly accurate and worth the money ?
