Pintail Fairy Wrasse in bare bottom tank?

I ran across a beautiful pin tail fairy wrasse the other day and passed it up because I wasn't sure if it needed a sandbed. Anyone have any experience with these?

Also, will they get along with flasher wrasses?

As others have said... just make sure that you have plenty of rock work for him to wedge himself into, to feel safe at night.

They don't necessarily even need to wedge themselves into rockwork.
They will secrete a mucus cocoon at night, and shed it in the morning.
You'll see this if you put it in an acclimator box for a few days before releasing it into the DT.

As mentioned a fairy wrasse is fine in a bare bottom tank.
