Micro's and zoa's can touch, But you dont want the zoa's growing over the micro's. Chino's will kill everything in its reach. At night the tents come out, and sting the crap out of every coral near it.

I have about 200 chalice frags right now growing out. Probably about 10% of them are touching zoanthids, and aren't bothering them a bit. Its about the only coral my chalice dont bother.

So my zoa's/palys are safe but I should keep the micros away from the chalice. Thanks for the info guys. Im just starting to get some cool micros and echinos. It would really suck if they killed each other.

I don't know about the zoa's and paly's being safe from the micro. My micro is very aggressive. It throws out it's filaments on my paly's everytime they get too close. I have saved my paly's three times now. I just saved a purple mushroom that floated over near it day before yesterday.

Chalice vary. I have some with 1/4" sweepers, and a puffy green one with 1"-1 1/2" sweepers. Most are short, but a few I have had really get them out there. ;)

I have a decent amt of flow, and those things dangle in the flow. I keep every thing away downwind from them.
Lemme see if i can get a pic tonight/early next morning.
