Has anyone had experience using coastal plants/succulents etc for nutrient control?
I currently don't have room to run any form of macro algae so I'm looking at "planting" something such as salicornia in one of my rear chambers...has anyone else tried this?

Haven't tried this, so intereted to hear other's experiences. I've tried mangroves- they are fun, but extremely inefficient at nutrient reduction.

Yeah they are super slow growers by all accounts, whereas these seem to have a good growth rate from what I've researched. Really keen to see if anyone has tried it
