Okay I just did a water change ammonia is still 0.2 how long should I wait to move him to a qt so would you recommend me get prazi pro and treat that and see if he gets better

Are you going to an lfs, take a water sample and have them double check your ammonia test, just to make sure there is not a testing error. If it were me, I would use prazi pro until I could get him into the qt and treat with paracleanse. As soon as you have the qt cycled, I would move him over; unless he started eating and settled down.

It is very common for lions to come in with internal parasites, if addressed right away there's a good chance for success. A healthy lion will literally eat a live food offering right in the bag floating. If the lion doesn't eat within 24 hrs, with an overnight of live food in the tank; then there's usually an issue.

Okay how long would you recommend how long can they go without eating
Treating with Prime once should eliminate the ammonia in the tank. If you get more in a day or two treat it again. Clearly you added too many fish too soon to a new tank that was not fully cycled.

Give it 12 hours before testing ammonia after a water change. With matter suspended after change, you’ll get false readings

Do you guys think I should use para cleanse and maracyn and treat The Whole tank I have anenomes and some corals
Just allow the lion to settle. There is a lot oif chasing of parameters here and remember nothing is fast in saltwater, I realize youre trying to get this lion to comfort state but its being stressed more than relieved.

How do you think it got in my tank how do you get rid of them I only see one
They come in on rocks, even in the bag water with fish.
Starving is the best way. The water current will prevent food from reaching it. If difficult to do, pull rock and place a dab of gel superglue on its mouth opening and again, it will starve

I think 40 lbs and no I don’t have a skimmer or sub just the penguin filter I am going to invest in a skimmer soon I do have another tank the problem is nitrite is at 1 and nitrate is a 40 there is 0 ammonia in the other one should I put him in the other one or leave him
I use a HOB motor filter like yours and a AquaMaxx HF-M HOB filter/skimmer combine on my 60g; and have been satisfied with the setup's performance.
