Does anyone know what this is? How do I treat him?

That’s what I thought, I just couldn’t find anything that looked similar. He’s not eating. He’s been in the tank for 2 months, with no problems. I have him in a 5 gallon bucket of tank water, with air stone and heater. Just don’t want to treat the wrong way.

Get him into a hospital tank asap. You can add a little garlic powder to the food and see if he'll eat. If you feed pellets, soak them in some tank water with the garlic to soften them up and make it easier to eat. Then treat with Prazipro to start with and see if he improves. If he does you may need to treat with Metro and Focus as well.

can treatment start in the bucket I have him in? My vet gave me prescription for chloroquine phosphate powder and can’t find a drugstore that carries it. Has anyone ever dealt with Eveything Aquatic online. The website says they carry it?

I would feed metro bound with focus for the threat of internal parasites...but more concerning the 2 on the tail appear to have a forked tail which would indicate an anchor worm...heres a thread...

For what ever reason I have everything @Humblefish recommends to have in hand EXCEPT Prazipro & Focus. I added metro and will pick up prazi & focus in the morning. I hope he makes it through the night. Velvet wiped out my tank last year and it broke my heart. I hate to see the little guy suffer

Who says it needs medication? Did my post go un-noticed?
I’m so sorry, I did miss it. I was in such a panic mode when I came back to check the thread, I must have flown past it.

I haven’t been able to get him to eat yet. I’ll try again. What would cause the irritation around his face?

Thank you. I love Barnacle Blennies, but they’re so small you don’t always know something is wrong until it’s too late.

Does anyone have any ideas? My other fish are fine. Do I wait to see if something else happens?
