I currently have a new Waterbox 100.3 36L x 24w x 22H, and its been up running for almost 3 months now. I'm running 2 ecotech x15 g6 blues, and I recently purchased the Vabira Par meter. I'm only reading 180- 250 par for the top, +- 100 around the middle. I figured 2 x15s would be plenty of par to run SPS later on in my tank. Do these numbers seem correct? IF so, do i need a 3rd light? Thanks in advance for your responses.

I can’t comment on whether that sounds right for your lights, but I can tell you its not enough for most SPS. Even LPS will struggle in the bottom half of your tank if that reading is correct.

Although I cannot adequately help you with your lighting issue, I CAN offer a 'Great Job' with your PAR meter purchase. I'm doing the same thing. It won't get a lot of use, but it'll be an excellent tool to own for future needs.
