All the images i have seen showed very prominate white to yellow banding and that same color follows the spiral of the shell along the crease. Zoomed in this one doesnt appear to do that....im not a zoologist though. If it were a plant i could be more certain. Lol i would waot for more consensus and if it still isnt possitively id'ed i agree, pull it.

Hello, setting up a new tank and we got some live rock from a local reefer who said it is aiptasia free. Looking for IDs on the brownish circular things (left hand side). One of them sticks up a few millimeters (side view pics also) but doesn’t seem to have the tentacles an aiptasia would.
Also think we have some bristle stars (are these okay? There are 3-4). Thank you so much!

This was munching on my zoas (caught red handed) about a year ago. Looks like what the OP found.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I thought the OP's picture was a bit dark, but it may be the snail. I'd pull it anyway because I hate being wrong.
I just went through all the snails on live aquaria....cant find a perfect match for anything... would love to hear some more opinions. Even the margarita isnt a perfect match because the point of the shell isnt showing any type of mother of pearl looking coloration.....of course the snail is so small right now maybe it hasnt developed.

Just watched it for a while and it does seem to have legs and can scoot pretty quickly. Is it possibly a hermit crab?

Also found this little snail (maybe 1/2” across). Is this a good or bad guy? Thank you all so much for your help.
Looks like a collanista snail which are fairly small, breed easily and good algae eaters

Found this starfish also - is this an asterina and if so do you recommend removing?

You will find lots of differing opinions about these in the reefing community. As Mark said above, some will go after corals, some wont, i saw a thread where one had a bite out of someones fish... the biggest reason that was explained to me for removing them when i started in this hobby was due to tank poisoning potential. These little beasts can multiply until there are hundreds in your tank. Most starfish require very clean and stable water conditions. If they change rapidly or hit a point that is unhealthy for them. Boom, all dead and like a flatworm die off...it can crash a tank.
