What happended when you tried to cut it?

Almost lost her. One half melted away. I put the other half through a bad nitrate crash and almost lost it. But shes making a comeback now. Its the picture in my avatar.

Have you tried to feed yours? My minecraft doesn't eat like the others. Instead of closing up on its food it just opens its mouth and let's the food sink in.

Yours should do real good with mysis shrimp.

I tried mysis shrimp but it didnt do anything with it. Its in a special aquarium with pipefish so i feed alot in it but it never closes up. Maybe i should try its mouth directly?

Yes directly on mouth as close as i can with all my shrooms. I turn off flow as well as i can. Come to think of it the first time I got mine to eat was at lights out. Some prefer to eat at lights out.
Yours is huge though. So whatever your feeding when your feeding its probably getting enough.

If you want to see a reaction of the shroom, spread the food all over it, it will close up to get the food into the mouth. If you place the food right on top of the mouth, shroom doesn't have to work hard to eat it.

I tried spreading it but i think its already full from all the feeding

Well i just have it so it has to be a little bit more stable. And there is only 2 in it and two manderins a goby and a fish for the aptaisia
