I have a core 20 that has 1 1/4 union, the output size, I already have many valves and fittings for the plumbing but they are 1 1/2. So my question is can I bush it up from one and a quarter to one and a half without loosing any gallon per hour turn over rate?

You will be fine. You will actually have less friction loss going to a larger diameter pipe size than the discharge of the pump. No change in pressure by going up from 1 1/4” to 1 1/2”. It would actually be better.
