Im really wanting to try another idea put some L.R. In a corner of you tank turn all lights out put a flash light or somekind of light on just that rock out side the tank and shpion just leave a shpion going 24-7 in that spot ??

Im back black out since i know where they are ill go a few hours a day light and shipon as much as i can feed in that time then back to black for a while i shipon during black out but hard with a flash light

Yeah. When I was siphoning mine I had blue lights on throughout the day.Just kept siphoning every 20 to 30 minutes

About six or seven hours a day. That way I could see the Dinos to suck them out. A blackout is only effective if it straight back out. You cannot allow any light in at all. If you're opening it for a couple hours its not doing anything

Ok i leave the shipon going 24-7 throught carbon and gto with 2 filterpads and floss. I just some back and spot shipon here and there

So the things i did the external filter with carbon, gfo, spoung and floss, lights out 95% of the time just to feed and spot siphon the dinos i have been using h2O2 the hole time i have been testing every day my P.H. Is 8.3 calc 440 nitrats 10ppm phosphates barly any 0.25 it is barly a green tint ammonia 0 nitires o dkh 10 i use redsea salt and a rodi with tds Kalkwasser dosing

By the way, love that rockwork! Sweet caves. I know gsp can be a pain but it looks so cool in large patchs

Yes very and now other people can see what it takes to over come them i did add a air pump and stone to my sump
