Hi all! I have the top half of my rocks covered in those and some of them are also on my montiporas (which happen to be on the very top of the rocks). I flushed them and managed to grab some and put them under a microscope. Now I have never seen something like this, I also took a video (which show what seems to be their organs moving inside them). If you believe those are some sort of "egg sacs", I have anemone sexy shrimps in my tank, and few other critters that may have spawned.

nope, if you had a mandarin, he'd clear them out
I do actually have a mandarin, and it's a 17g tank, she eats both pods and frozen (that may be the issue), to be honest she eats tisbee and tigriopus, but doesn't seem interested in those guys I posted.

I am just worried, they are some sort of coral eating bugs... hope someone can certainly identify them, so I can realize how to treat this.
Most are consumed by small predators like predatory amphipods and other microfauna predators. I have never heard of them eating corals. All of the little species like this of water fleas that i know of are detrivores.

Do you believe Tisbee/Tigriopus would eat those or at least outcompete them?

I have tbh ive never actually seen them in a reef tank. I am solely basing my id on how similar they look to daphina which i have raised to feed to fw fish. Maybe @KJ has some better information.

They look like white/light-gray dots moving on the rocks/montiporas, I can't see them on any other corals, but as I said in the first post, it may just be that montiporas are also on the same location of where these guys hang out.. I will take a pic as soon as I get back home

Here are some pics in the tank, I also made a video of them moving on a couple of my rocks, they are those light gray dots all over the rock.

The only thing I changed was that I added a dose of Vibrant, it faded my red cap monti within 2 days and this stuff that I have never seen before appeared more and more..
