Probably 3 times a day! Unless I know something is going on - the Apex has saved me quite a few times with my ATO eye being dirty and salt creeping due to temp

Neptune Apex is a great aquarium controller! Do you need one to run a successful aquarium? No. Does using an Apex help you be more successful with your aquarium? Absolutely! I look at mine 6 to 10 times a day.

I like feed mode and the ability to turn pumps and outlets on and off during maintenance from my phone. The only number I look at and pay attention too is ORP, it is a good indicator of conditions in my FOWLR tank.

Pro tip: do NOT buy pre shredded cheese for your mac - grate it yourself. The agent they add to make shredded cheese not stick will make your mac clumpy.

I look at mine once or twice a day and it has saved me a couple of times. If I'm at work or out of town and something doesn't look right i can call my wife and facetime her and diagnose the issue.

I used to have a ReefAngel. It was hit or miss if it would update or not. The wifi hardly worked for it for me. The apex for me is a huge upgrade.

I check it every few hours. I picked the 6-10 times per day but it's probably towards the upper end of that.

I just got mine. I am constantly checking it. I’m sure I’ll slow down in a couple weeks.

new to apex so just hooked up the probes and check often more for the novelty lol's. I need to move the heater to another chamber--as soon as I get my new heater. Have a temp one in the chamber with the downpipes and that is where I put the probes.
