Poll: How high above water is your T5 Fixture?

Wondering how high above the water users of T5's or T5 hybrids keep their fixtures mounted? Let's here where you keep yours.

10" by default because of my canopy. I'd like to go a little higher, but it's more effort than I am willing to put in at this point.

just moved mine up a bit to about 10" off the water.

I generally only run 2 bulbs, One in front and One in back all day along with my 2 360's @75-80% Acro frags have nice colors

My metal halide/t5 fixture is currently 9" above the waters surface

I've never used T5's. When I used T12 VHO I rested them on the tank trim, so maybe 1-2" from the water surface.

I keep mine around 4”. I find that if you keep them higher than that, there is a possibility that the light will spill from the tank and turn the room blue from some of the fixtures light that bleeds from the top of the tank.

I have a par meter and raise/lower lights to desired intensity.
