I’m eyeing one of these when they become avaialable. Does the fact they Are captive bred make them any more reeef safe?

Does anyone have one? If so how would you describe their temperament and propensity for munching on any corals?

Thanks for any info.

With most captive bred fish you generally have a much better chance of them not munching on corals, key word is generally.

Kind of what I was thinking. Now I need to hurry up and wait until they grow out large enough to sell.

Going to revive this thread.

Anyone have a Poma Blueline and want to share photos with any insight on their fish?
Thank you.

I have two Poma Blue lines born 1/20/18. They are now about 3.5”. Great fish but two different personalities. One ripped apart most of my soft and LPS corals and a clam and the other angel doesn’t. The only corals that are still surviving are mushrooms. Rock anemones are also doing well. They never showed any aggression towards any smaller tank mates and had no problem avoiding the much bigger Emperor and Maculosus. They do beat the crap out of each other though. Currently in different tanks. Never had any health issues and eats everything out of my fingers.

Congrats to you guys... it's been one of my personal favorites since the 80's... we used to see them frequently in W. Pacific shipments like from Vietnam and Japan.

I'm very happy to see them captive bred... my, how far we've come.

Ordered one today. Matt called me back after I left a message and was excited about this batch of bluelines. Can’t wait to get it!
