I'm moving to Oregon (Portland), and was wondering if anyone knew if property managers were generally aquarium friendly?

I've been looking at apartments and houses for rent. Some say "fish allowed" but most don't mention it at all.

I'm researching a place that will take my small dog, cat and 2 tanks.

Is it assumed OK, or should I be asking every property?

Any advice is helpful - this is a cross country move, so everything is more problematic, expensive, confusing and time consuming. I've also not rented an apartment since 1999, which makes it more difficult.

That is really going to be up to your landlord and the size of the tanks.
