Hey Everyone,

New zoa frag, and it looks like there is aiptasia growing on one of the zoa polyps. I can definitely see aiptasia on the stem of the plug, and what looks like basically the same on the zoa polyp itself. One interesting thing is the possible aiptasia on the polyp has some fluorescence which I didn't think aiptasia had.

Am I just crazy or does this happen, and if it is Aiptasia how do I remove it?

Thanks a ton

Yeah, definitely aiptasia. The best treatment is kalkwasser mixed into a thick paste with RO water. This will kill anything, and unfortunately that means the coral too if you aren't careful.

Would a drop of super glue do it, or would that cause more damage?
