I just bought this used tank and I'm not sure whether this is aiptasia or something else? Also, are those eggs on the rocks (last pictures)?

I’m not an expert but from what I can see those look like ball anemones to me. Not aptasia. We’ve had both in our system.
Peppermint shrimp have kept our 125 gallon aptasia free for what it’s worth.
good luck.

I agree with Sonam, those look like ball anemones to me. I have had strawberry anemones in my tank that look similar to that, however they are pink with white tips

Those upper pictures do look like ball anemones however I see a corresponding skeleton. Those could very well be oculinid corals, especially if it’s carribean/gulf rock. Last pic looks like Valonia aka bubble algae.

Super cool haha. Put it in fuge!!!!
Personally I would not do that as it just going to eat up all the good stuff that your display tank corals and fish are in need of. I suggest removal and the tidy bowl treatment.

How do I make kalk paste and cover? Will kalk paste kill other corals?

I’d be 100% sure on the I’d before killing. If those are ball anemones then that is the most incredible coincidence that I have ever seen, having them live inside a vacated stony coral skeleton. If it were one, maybe, but 2 in Close proximity...no way. I think you are dealing with something like this..

Google Carribean cup coral. There’s only about a thousand different species. I’m sure you’ll find a match.

Pseudocorynactis ball anemone

I’m inclined to agree with this. I have them in my tank. Think they are cool but they did sting a couple of my zoas but colonly as a whole never really cared and just grew around these. In my tank they like the dark so I never have too many problems competing for coral space.

There are no corals near them now. Can I leave them there for now? I just got the tank and still dealing with the water parameters.

Cup coral=good. Yes you can leave them, however the chances of them surviving long term are slim unless you feed. And unless of course they are anemones, I still don’t think they are. The tips of the tentacles in your pictures have no ball on them as the anemones do, and again the obvious tubular skeleton that apparently no one but me can see.

Not specifically this one but something like this. Let it grow see if they move around or start spawning in new locations. If the do possibly nem if it stay and colors up can always remove later
