Woke up to these things floating around. They seem to congregate towards the top of the water. Nothing in my tank at the moment besides a few hermits. Any input is greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

That is what they look like! Just a few minutes ago I witnessed the act. I was staring at my tank and it was 10 or 20 minutes after lights out and out of the corner of my eye I see an eruption. It’s a tiny little hermit crab spewing thousands upon thousands of these little larvae into the water column. It happened 3 or 4 times before the crab finished and they are just everywhere in the tank. I catch some with a turkey baster and put into a specimen container for closer observation and they are jerking around going towards light with their little yolk sacks. This hobby just keeps amazing me! I’ve also got a spawning pair of molly miller blennies in another tank. Now to figure out how to raise the larvae and find very tiny shells! LOL
