Everything I have was a frag.this was thew size of a nickel.
tempImageoc1It2.png
The euphoria were single heads.
tempImagek92fd9.png
The Duncan was a single head
tempImageBXTRrM.png
Everything you see were 1/2 to 1 inch frags.
tempImagejLyIw3.png
These chalices were dime size.
tempImageUDNuOd.png
tempImagewry87e.png
The pocillopora growing under the aero was one single bailout polyp, thought it was a pest at first.
tempImageoU2a4Y.png
The green leptosiris was dime sized and now it covers the entire rock and is shelving off it.
tempImageQESKeb.png
Sorry the pictures are sideways, couldn't figure out how to rotate them.

What made you start thinking it was not a pest that crap grows like weeds. Just joking i actually like that it grows so fast, but hate when it spawns. Beautiful tank btw.

Okay. I have a few.
1. One of 2 stylo's that were about the size of my little finger when I bought them. 3 years later, they're probably over 10 pounds each. Can't cut them with my bone cutters.

2. Birds nest. Moved this from another tank. Been in the tank about 2 years. It's about 18" long by 12" wide. I've probably removed as much as is still in the tank.

3. Hollywood Stunner Chalice. I trim this thing constantly! It grows like crazy! I have removed far more of this than is still in the tank. I'm pretty sure it's sole purpose in life is to suck up my CA and Alk.

4. Duncan. I moved this from another tank. It's been there for about 2 years(ish). I've already fragged it twice. I have no idea how many heads it has now. but it's starting to seriously inhibit flow.

5. Blasto. I've had this guy for quite a while. It just survived for a couple of years, but lately it's really taken off. It's probably the size of a small head of cabbage.

6. Unnamed acro. I have no idea what it's called, but I like it. Grows like crazy near the water surface. Probably about 8" by 4". I trim it from time to time.

I have other colonies that aren't as big. I've trimmed the monti caps and green slimer down to almost nothing. I've got a Pink lemonade acro that I've been able to keep in check.

Word to the wise: Don't let your colonies get ahead of you. Sure, large colonies look great, but they take up a lot of real-estate and limit the diversity of corals you can introduce to the tank.
