Has anyone ever had a issue with zoa growth and coroline algae competing? I find I have to scratch it off and then they can take over.
Some will creep under and crack off flakes but growing over never happens.
Thanks

Some doesn't like emerald crabs, but these guys are the best algae remover in my tank. They are clumsy though and at times will accidentally remove a newly glued zoa from a rock to get to an algae, but they got rid of all the pesky green bubble algae from my tank. Also in my opinion, emeralds cleans zoa of algae and dead zoa from the colony which I think keeps my colonies healthy and big.
