I recently started replaying Super Mario Bros on Switch and the nostalgia is max overload! Having said that, I now remember why this game made me so angry as a kid. It's a platformer with horribly responsive controls, plus the designers threw in a lot of "gotcha" enemies, same as Donkey Kong Country. I eventually just put on Breath Of Fire 2 and have been playing it since. No wonder I used to gravitate to RPGs. You actually have control over the game, and it tells a nice story.
