Can anyone share lighting tips for specific acros? For example, PC rainbow turns more red with more light and more yellow in mid light. What other acros color up differently based on light?
I’d say almost all

higher par just gives you a red Acro for more color Lower around 200ish will bring out more colors

Any...most people just say to give acros lots of lights but some acros behave differently based on light. Are there any specific acros that love love love light 400+ vs acros that do better in med light 250+.

Another example is Walt Disney. To get the yellow polyps, it needs 400+ par.

Feed more to go with higher par. Everything is interconnected. Acros are energy hungry because building skeleton is a demanding biological process.

From our experience,

smooth skin corals do best with low light id say 200 or less par
give them too much light and they turn white but still alive

Thanks! I have different places to mount them. Some are high high and some are med area. So wanted to make sure I put the light hungry ones up at the top. My general strategy is tenius up top and tabling med.

Any specific tip for cofefe?
