Hi Everyone!
I have a powder brown tang in QT with Copper Power for 17 days now (17 days from the day I've reached 2.44 PPM) target is 2.5 PPM.
Yesterday I've noticed kind of skin peel on the fish face, only in few spots. It looks like there is less of a skin peel today.
I'm not sure but he might be also twiching.
Pictures are from today and yesterday. Video if from today.
Information:
Tank is newly cycled QT that didn't had perfect ammonia levels in the last 2 weeks(never above alert-0.05PPM color). Using the Ammonia badge by Seacam.
Dosed beneficial bacteria during this time and also added Prime approximiltly every other day.
Tank size is 29G and running HOB filter, Sponge filter, circulation pump and a heater.
Few PVC pipes for hiding.
Tank mates are 4 juvenailes clownfish, 2 with the tang and the other 2 are behind a divider.
Weekly water change.
Planning on full 30 days in the copper.
No signs of anything similar in the clowns (althouge smaller and if there is any it will be hard to see).
I did found out yesterday before doing the weekly water change that the copper level is around 2.6, I've diluted it with the water change.
The ammonia level seems to settle to the yellow(no ammonia) mark now, so I think from now on it will be OK ammonia wise.
What do I see here?
Thanks!
