Does anyone have this tank that can share their power head placement? I am having the hardest time getting good circulation with my mp40s. Not sure if I M needing more powerheads. Pictures would be awesome!!!!

Thank you

Two mp 40’s seem adequate, why are you thinking it’s not enough flow ?

It is the way the tank is designed. Because it is a corner tank, the power heads point toward the front glass instead of each other.
I get that but the current must still be putting flow in the tank . That being said Their are powerheads that you can manipulate the directional flow . Also have you considered putting both mp40’s on the same side , one up and the other lower to create a more circular current of sorts

haven’t thought of putting them on the same side. Definitely something to consider to see what happens.

I had a 92 corner that I took down about 6 months ago. Getting the flow right was definitely a pain. I moved my pumps around probably 20 times before I found a good placement. What I ended up doing was placing them so they were directly blowing on the back of my rock structure. I had two octopulse 4s. That dispersed the flow pretty good. Then I had the return nozzles blow straight down the center to the front glass. That gave me decent flow without getting the vortex in the front corners. I don’t really have good pics of the final placement of the pumps, but here are some pics of the rock structure. The pumps were on each side of the overflow about 7 inches from the bottom.
