The tank is a 6 foot 165 if you aren't familiar with Waterbox. I haved used Vortechs for years and love them, but this tank will be close to kids so, the outside the tank thing is a no go.

I am interested in the Maxspect Gyre, but don't know if that is the best Grye and I don't want to drop a G to find out (I need 2)

Ideally I would like something that blends in so it is not so noticed.

If you have something you love, shout it out!

Tank will be a mixed reef, but mostly sticks and a few LPS towards the sand.

I've had an Icecap gyre 3K for three (ish?) years that I like. Moves a ton of water, like all gyres, and it's pretty quiet, and I've only cleaned it once. It was about 150$, but they don't make that style anymore. They do make a 2K and 4K that you can run 2 pumps with 1 controller. That set would be 420-490$ depending on which one you get.
