Going to keep soft corals, I need more circulation in my 75g. Scowering BRS and amazon. Any recommendations for a nice pump that isn't 150+... if it exists...

I have a jebao cap 90 cross flow. Plenty of flow easy to use. I have it set on 5

Well, that's that then.

Looks like that is a gyre. They move a ton of water, but differently than a powerhead.

Buy once cry once. Jebaos have a pretty high and quick failure rate and are chinese stealing of intellectual property to save a little bit right now you won't be better off in the long run. I tried Jebao for a total of 12 pumps. 2 of them lasted more than 2 years. 4 of them lasted more than 1. The other 8 failed within 1 year.

You you like the gyre design, get an ice cap gyre. It's not that much more expensive than the Jebao but will actually last. I have one that is 7 years old and works as good as day 1, no impeller replacements, no hardware issues, just the occasional cleaning like once a year.

If you like the WaveMaker kind of design, get a nero, vortech, Neptune WAV (if you have an apex), tunze, etc.

Well, it all depends on luck i guess

Wp40, runs for 8 years, not a single problem.... Sow8, 2 years and counting. Multiple jebao pumps runs on multiple people also for years..

So, you want to say that ATI puts their logo on stolen intelectual property?

Nor sure is there any difference between ati and jebao, but my pumps come with ati logo.....

I saw the reviews about the negative aspects, gonna give it a shot, will let everyone know what I think. I liked the tube design vs the big circular pump look, seemed sleeker.

YOLO?

When did I mention ATI? I said ice cap, which payed licensing fees to properly build a gyre based on actual maxspect engineering specifications. Jebao is a reverse engineered knockoff in blatant violation of patent law that is lower quality.

You get what you pay for when you buy cheap Chinese crap. When I had less disposable income, I tried them too because they were cheaper. Now I live by the buy once cry once methodology.
