Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has any ideas on why all my soft corals don't grow expect xenia (even gsp doesn't grow) and i don't have corraline algae. The tank is over 3 years old but during that time it has been moved and has been under hyposlanity for a month. It also used to have over 100ppm of nitrates. I have got them to 50ppm bt I can't get hem to drop further. On a plus side they aren't raising either. The tank is 400L with heavy filtration for the size of the tank. I also just added a rock covered with zoas and corraline from my dads mixed reef to hopefully seed the corraline. Below are all the specs of my tank. All the tests were salifert. Thanks in advanced!

Filtration:
Buuble magus filter roller
Mantis tornado 180 protein skimmer (600L - 1500L)
Aqua uv 57watt
Refugium with chaeto
Bioballs

Paramaters:
Nitrate - 50ppm
Phosphate - 0.25ppm
Alkalinity - 7.8dKH
Magnesium - 1260ppm
Calcium - 405ppm

Dosing:
50mls vodka and vinegar mix daily

corals need light, flow, and nutrients to grow. You have nutrients, so can you tell us about the lighting and flow? Surviving, but not thriving, often turns out to be a low lighting issue. Pictures will help.
