I had a more predator dominated tank in my 125! Had 4 lions, eels, triggers and a grouper (marine betta). I had to surrender my lion fish because Im deathly allergic to them. I now keep just eels and my marine betta, and recently got a baby snapper and a porcupine puffer. For a 90 gallon you could do a dwarf lion, one of the smaller (2 foot) eels, and leaf fish is also an option. I really love my marine betta, he is shy but when he is out he is stunning!

My current predators: also thing to take into consideration is CUC. I have a horseshoe crab as mine, shes the only CUC I have in my 300. Does amazing with the sand. My tangs take care of the rocks. But shrimps and crabs get eaten! Snails are usually fine, never had anyone mess with turbos. I do love my eels. Loki (my white eye), Ivar (my jeweled moray) and Ghost (my snowflake) all have unique personalities! Ghost is super sweet, Ivar is kind of a butt but he is very bold, and Loki is a mix of the two. They all love the same burrow and all of them sleep under there too.

He's lovely but his bites are quite painful Lol, he definitely needs a big tank i think mine is the bare minimum since he likes to swim a lot compared to my other fangtooth, he loves shrimp and eats clams aswell as opened up crabs, he loves squid head but doesn't really eat the body so goodluck, I really recommend you to get one!
