Was wondering what one would pay if interested for all. Neons about 14 heads. Neon stem is about 7 and the dark blue is about 13. Got someone interested in them all. But unsure of a good lot price.

Recently looking into it $5 is wholesale per head. $10 is base retail some places.

Quality and popular color combos can increase value to $40 or higher per head. Scarcity helps of course.

If you take time you can get better pricing but you can sell as a lot right away as you get closer to $5 a head.

I haven’t seen those prices since the Indo ban. Seems like $40 a head is the low end retail now.

In RI and Massachusetts that’s the numbers I’m seeing. I have at least one local store that sells them at $10 a head all day long and buys at $5 a head.

Yeah more what I have been seeing as well. I haven’t seen cheaper than 40 on the normals anywhere.

5-10 a head... really though?

Maybe I’m missing something. I thought the same as you until this past week when I found a 125g tank full and tried to get price estimates to make an offer.

Maybe I’m confusing which hammers? Attached are some admittedly less than ideal photos I took and one screen grab on live aquaria which is one of the exact same hammers I have in my tank. Photos are from just after adding to tank to more present day. One photo is if them in the 125. They’re under ai prime 16hd and iPhone X. Some are edited.

Some photos contain more than hammers.

Am I confusing things?

Maybe the prices are finally coming down. I think they’ve stayed inflated for a long time after the ban just cuz people were paying.... maybe some places are now finding their supply is outstripping demand.

I’m not sure. I’ve been trying to figure it out the past two weeks.

I think it’s just markets being segmented and localized.

I’m also not sure about the ban, my understanding is that areas cycle in and out of availability due to many regulatory and political influences.

If anyone wants any for $40 let me know!

Oh and some of the photos prior might be frogspawn not hammer but I think I have some of each in same colors or something. They look similar.
