I set this tank up after I got back from my last deployment, this has been the progress over the last 8 months to today. I started getting really into acros these past few months so it is a mixed reef about 50/50 softies/LPS and SPS.
I’ve rearranged the rock work a few times just to get my corals happy and make space for more, now I’m pretty much maxed out on space, next thing to do is just upgrade!
Im running a 20 Gallon tank, that runs in a 5 gallon sump, with an Aqua life 115 skimmer. I use a DP3 Jebao auto doser, with 2 AI prime HD 16’s running over it all. I also use a Hydor ATO with a 5 gallon RO tank behind the whole setup.
Currently there are 28 different types of corals in the tank, with 2 clowns, 1 yellow watchman goby, 1 pistol shrimp, 1 sexy shrimp, 1 conch, 1 emerald crab, 1 sand sifting starfish and a bunch of hermits and snails. Here’s some pics taken over the course of these 8 months and progress of the tank. Let me know what you think, enjoy!
