I would suggest you just stop worrying about your PH...

How many kalk did you put in the reactor?
The ideas is always have saturated kal.
Example I put 2 cup inside and I have to change every week

Ok, that has to be enough for start.
Yes I believe the effluent is accurate. I am dosing 30ML every 2 hours now. I am noticing alkalinity is still dropping so I upped the calcium reactor. As for pH it is dropping still so I will continue to see if I can get this correct. I am more concerned now that the salinity is also dropping from the addition. I only say this because I have a salinity probe and usually it is pretty much the same daily. Today it is .2 lower than normal.

How large is your system that you are dropping 40ML per hour on? You do not notice a salinity drop?

My sistem is 225 gallons with 40 gallon sump. The salinity drop a little but nothing to concern here at Texas the evaporation is high and my wife does not like to have a/c to low.

I assume kalk will not interact with saltwater? I mean I could not take tank water through the kalk reactor to dose back into the tank like I do with calcium reactor.

So mine is 100 with about a 20-30g sump. You being at 40ML per hour right? I am at 30ML/2hr so I am thinking I just need to up it. But yes I have to be concerned with salinity dropping now which was my initial concern with dosing kalk without it being on the ATO.

My kalk reactor does not interacted with salt water, but if you have problem with dropping salinity, sometimes a put some saltwater in my ato to increase slow the salinity.
My idea came from a two videos, Google "dyi kalkwasser reactor part 1 and 2"
You can see how my ph move during a day. Normally in weekends a need to change my kalk

Wowza thats a high ORP. Well I am going to try adjusting it a little more. Seems like I am not giving it enough as alk is dropping and so is pH. I just upped it to 40ML every 2 hours. So half what you are doing as my tank is 100g and fully stocked SPS.

Oh no doubt. Not saying it's a bad thing. I can get max 370 with Ozone. How are you achieving that high of an ORP?

So I got it to 40ML/hour like you. I noticed since I make the change last night however my water line is increasing? Is it possible my tank does not evaporate enough to compensate for the 40ML/hr?

Yea, I draw a line with a marker to monitor the water level. It is higher than normal. :( This was my main concern in doing this.

You can reduce your droping rate and increase the alk in the kalk reactor adding more kalk. I can not remember where is the limit for the alk.
Other you can lower your leve in the sump

I am pretty sure with my Kalk reactor it is always constant. So what, 12ph or something. My reactor has about a cup of Kalk in it. I think the more you put in the kalk just precipitates out.
