So how would you guys go about feeding s purple firefish in a nuvo 10 without getting s bunch of excess food everyplace. You squirt food in they dont eat it. It gets all over the tank. Put pellets they float on top. He doesnt eat it etc. I've had the firefish for 2 days . I just dont wanna overfeed the tank trying to get him to eat. How often do you feed a firefish anyway? Should I cut a cube of brine into 8 pieces, and just turn off flow and squirt it at him. I ordered some Kent garlic to add to food as well.

I would say around a 1/4 cube of brine for 1 fish in a 10 would be sufficient, spread daily feedings out into multiple portions for best results.. I would defrost a cube in small cup with RO water so you can just pour a tiny amount in at a time. store in the refrigerator between uses

I buy small round Tupperware containers from the dollar store. Place a cube of food inside refrigerator until thawed, usually over night. Then feed as much as they will eat. Any leftover food on bottom he will find and eat or CUC will munch on it.

See I can only feed with the return pumps off. If I turn it on. The food just goes over the weir into the back. So I have like a 30 minute feeding time.
