Hello everyone!

I’m working on a build: Red Sea reefer 350 with a trigger 26. So 72 gallons plus 20 gallon sump

I believe the total water volume will be ~92 gallons.

I am having a hard time finding a skimmer with dimensions that will work for the skimmer area?

Dimensions on website: 8.25″ x 10″
Dimensions I measured (it has a lip?): 7.25”x9”

Reef Octopus Classic 110SSS. It's 7.9" x 6.1" and rated for up to 132gal. I have one in my 40gal TSV and it works too well. I only turn it on every 2 or 3 days or it will strip all DOC out and leave starving coral.

Check out the Bubble Magus Curve Elite 5, that’s what I’m going with on my 75 gallon display and 30 gallon sump.

That one might work, any idea on how to get that in such a tight space with a lip (similar to a eurobrace) on the sump?

What’s the total open space when you factor in the lip of the sump?

7.25”x9” This was one edge to the next but I assume I can angle it a bit because it’s the base that is the problem?

I've got about the same set up and just switched to the Reef Octopus Essense S-130 Int. It's quiet and does a great job.

I think this would fit with plenty of room.

It’s a larger opening than the skimmer footprint, I would imagine you’d be ok. Can always email a Bubble Magus distributor to confirm it will fit.

The Red Sea Reefer 300 works well in my 60 gallon...with Sapphire 26.
That’s the skimmer I’ve been looking at, so it fits? I looked past it because the dimensions were stated to be Footprint* - 9.1" x 8.3" or 9.8" x 7.1"?

It is a tight fit, but it works. Thought I would grab a few pictures for you as a reference. The intake can only go one way, facing the slot under the filter sock. However, it works fine. This has been in operation over a year and skims nicely. Hope this helps!
