It’s a barnacle. You’ll probably kill the acan trying to dig out the barnacle. It’s not harming it.

Not a hydroid, looks like a barnacle like above have mentioned.

Yeah a barnacle. It’s fine. Odds of long term survival are slim so don’t sweat it.
