Purple leafy coraline looking thing?

Best pic I could, small thing in the middle. Kinda looks like 3D branching/leafy coraline but I don’t think that’s a thing lol. Doesn’t look terribly dangerous, the heck is it?

Hard to tell from the pic. Did you start with live rock? If so where from?

There are lots of coraline algae in the shape of leafy growths. No worries.

So I noticed it moved a couple millimeters, pried it off and it’s a creature of some sort...limpet or something? Any ideas?

Not sure how long that red macro is gonna last if you have any hermits or herbivores. I suspect they will make a meal of it in a hurry
