Hi, Ive been trying to identify what is growing on this rock since I noticed it early this morning. The longer I look the more of them I see. They aren’t very big about as tall as an eraser on a pencil but not as big around. I’m hoping they aren’t bad but with my luck...

Hello, try getting a better picture and maybe some one can help identify it. Could be some type of algae. If your able to get it with some twizzlers and just take it out. Just turn off your flow if you try it.

it was very hard to remove with tweezers and broke. this does give a better idea of the color.
