Hey all,

I found this sad little purple tang at a filthy aquarium store here in LA. Purchased him in hopes of saving him. He really hated his copper QT but is now in display and eating like a pig.

I have 2 question: he has some erosion underneath his eyes, looks almost gray. His vision doesn’t seem affected. He also is missing his pectoral fins down to the nub.

will this erosion heal with time? And will his pectoral fins grow back? Pics attached.

Can you repost the pictures under white light? A short video might help as well.

Zebrasoma tangs can develop head and Lateral Line Erosion that looks really different from how it does in other tangs....it shows mostly as fin erosion...
