Any idea what’s up with my purple tang. It has Ich but the tank is hyposalinty really hoping that helps get rid of the white spots. It’s eating and all, I saw these on him today and tried to put him in a Qt but it kept running away so I didn’t want to stress him anymore. I’ll be doing a WC later tonight. It had a silver eye inflation before which cleared but I don’t know what these red nodes are and the front looks red too. Please help!

Im suspecting injury by eye rather than hemorraging and the hypo takes time but works. What salinity are you running at for hypo and how long have you had fish in Hypo?
To assure this does not become an infection, treat fish in QT with Maracyn 2 and increase aeration with an air stone and assure ammonia levels dont become elevated with a reliable ammonia kit

Also is this your main display tank in hyposolinity? If yes, check amonia of that water. I'm saying this because I see established rock in that tank, and hyposolini will couse a big die off causing amonia spike,

Take a picture of the head details, or you observe whether its head has ulcerated internal bleeding

Is the red area the same side of the fish that had the eye issue? If so, it may be from some injury.

Uronema is also a possibility, as that can get started up in a tank during hyposalinity. What is your current salinity and how long have the fish been at that level?
