Putting together my fish room and new custom Glass Cages 200 gallon

Got my Glass Cages tank and synergy sump ordered and am working on the fish room while I wait. Got all the carpet out and started painting.

Wish I had an extra room for a fish room. Have to get another kid out of the house first!

Got the floors in. Went with a vinyl plank. Still working on the the drywall in the closet where I had to bring in a couple dedicated circuits for the tanks equipment. The display tank will be on the wall right behind this closet and the sump will be on this side on a platform that I am going to build to get it up off the ground and make it easier to work on.

Kinda what I was going for with the blue for the water and the accent wall is like the sand lol. That and with all the walls blue it was just way too much blue.

The DT is on the other side of the closet wall so I’m gonna put the sump in there on a platform with controller boards above it so I can be as close as possible for all the cords to reach. I might leave the doors off to make it easier too. I’ll have to put the mixing station in the corner to the right of the closet. Sink is on the wall to the left of closet.

So you have to run the plumbing from the sump in the closet to the other side of the room? It's too bad you can't put the sink and mixing station in the closet; would be a great way to keep everything hidden away.

No the sump will be in the closet and the plumbing will have to go thru the back wall of the closet to the tank that is right on the other side of that wall in our dining room. So this is more like the work room for the tank that will be in our dining room. Also will be a perfect spot for a frag tank that I still have to break to my better half lol.

Finally got the mixing station together. Took forever for the valves to come but a good George Fisher valve is always worth the wait lol. I gotta get my RODI moved into the room from my garage where I have my brute can mixing station. It’s gonna be nice not having to fight the cold in the garage when trying to get my water up to temp. Also got the sink plumbed in. I sure am happy I finally get to use it. I been storing it in the garage for 5-6 years. I got it in a crazy good package deal with a handful of stainless tables for my shop. I knew I would use it one day. No matter what my wife said lol. Don’t mind the mess. It’s just some of the gear patiently waiting for the tank and sump to arrive.
