Worked on building the stand. Added heavy duty wheels that I can also use the level the tank.

The wheels I got from amazon.

If you are curious to why I cut a hole in the bottom of my stand. It is because I want the have the sump on the floor and not on the stand itself. I got this idea from jporter17's build. The sump is not actually on the floor but sits on 4 very small casters. This enables more space above the same so it is easier to work.
I’m both new and curious.... will you use the wheel casters to move the tank around when it’s full? I’m getting a 32.5 gallon tank with stand. I will be placing it in a corner of our living room, but I also know that we are planning to do some redecorating in the room within the next year (painting one wall and putting shiplap or similar type board on the other). I’m wondering if I could/should add casters to the base of my stand to allow us to move it easier out from the walls enough for the Redecor and then prevent having to drain and have a major disruption in the tank?

good start so far. Excited to watch this one come together.

For the overflow, I would change it now. Sounds like it will bother you if you don't! Silicone a flat piece of glass over the holes inside the tank and drill the back for a slim overflow, assuming that is the direction you want to go.
