Question for you all that use TTM.

If I know I won’t be able to be home for one of the transfers to be close to 72 hrs, how early can it be and still be effective? Is a transfer at 48 hrs or 60hrs a waste and I’d have to start over the clock? This would the first transfer for this tank’s inhabitants.

Unless I’m mistaken, the key in your less than idea situation would be not to go ‘overtime’— and just keep moving the ball down the field. If you have to transfer to the new tank early, you wouldn’t have to go back to square one with the clock. Just don’t count that particular transfer and pick up the clock from the next ‘clean’ tank moving forward. (Overall, depending on when you made the early transfer, you might be adding a day or two overall.) Sorry if I made that sound complicated— it’s about 1 a.m. LOL.
