Question about water change right after removing film algea

Should I wait for the water to clear before doing a water change and then change out filter floss? It's very cloudy since scraping film algea and hair from glass but it's been at least an hour Also looking to brush some hair algea off rocks and vac the sand a tiny bit during water change
