Question on hard plumbing the Vertex 1.5L media reactor?

Just got my Vertex 1.5L media reactor and I would like to hard plumb it to my MJ-1200 PUMP.
Wanted to see if someone could share their install on if you went with hard plumbing to the reactor or if you just used tubing to your pump. Please share pixs......
