I got my frag of the LE Green Jacketed Divaricata from Steve himself a couple months back and since then it has grown nicely. However, my mini colony's color is off and the graft has not really spread at all.

Here is a current picture of my mini colony, you can see the graft on the bottom right of the base.

My first question is, how do I get the color of the acropora to be blue/purple like it is suppose to be, rather than the pastelish green that mine currently is? I am thinking the cause is its close proximity to my t5's, which is why I am going to replace one of my bulbs with an actinic.

My second question is, how can I speed up the graft on the coral?

Also, if you have pictures of your frag or colony, please post them!

I did not know that they had one. I might just pm her about it. Thanks for the lead!

I bought a complete system and this piece came with it. As for how to spread the graft part, I would say it probably just takes time. The coral is under 250W radium 20k and VHO.

Wow! Your colony is perfect! That is how I want mine to look. Mine has no blue on it though, it is dark green with neon green graft.
