thanks guys/gals I have seen most of these tanks on here.
yes it can be done for sure! sent some "good vibes and pray to the gods of reefing" that I get to have my 3 tanks or evwn 2 big ones :D
Let's open up Pandora's Box and ask the real question (just because I like to stir things up):
Does "girlfriend" status rank high enough to need to get permission from? :)

I assume you treat her more like a common-law wife, otherwise, to paraphrase The Rock...
Dejavi: "hey, what do you think about me getting a 2nd tank?"
GF: "well, I'm not..."
Dejavi: "It...doesn't...matter what you think! The Rock says he's getting a 2nd tank!"

The way to beat this is to buy a tank the size of two, mission accomplished
Also as I have learned over the last 35 years, sometimes it better to ask for forgiveness, than permission!

nice! looks like you are still using the build my leds lights? such a bummer they dont make SW lights anymore i have one on my 40br holding tank sure do like it.

both tanks would be pretty big a red sea 750Xxl then a 170 peninsula and a little nano.
i think the I have a lay out that I might be able to get a win win we just need to talk it over :D

long story short GF is trying to veto my plans to have 2 large(ish) tank in the new home.
i thought i was getting the living room for a man cave but as it a open plan concept we are struggling with the layout.

I want her to have her space but all so want my fish room...haha
here is a idea my 92 gallon corner tank with work station next to it with refugium underneath

I wish I had pics of one of my apartments back in my heyday. You could show it to her and say it could be worse. I had six tanks in the living room. The dining room was the reptile area...lol.

Welcome to my formal fish room. This vid is at night but gives you the idea. You can certainly work tanks into home decor. This was from a cute night when the kids wanted to have a sleep over in the fish room (despite them each having tanks in their rooms)

love to see how you folks set up your space with multiply aquariums.
I think we may have figured it out. BUT the other big tank is not 100% yet.

You could always get rid of her, lol. Then you can have a tank in every room. I have 3 in my living room, one running, one waiting for lights and one that was a scrapped idea (still there though) and a 29 in the kitchen area, as an anemone/ Zoa grow out tank. I'll try and dig a picture up later.
